Insurance

All items handed over to the client are neat, clean, and without any other evident defects or damages. Rent Boutique expects the returned item from the Customer to be in the same condition, considering normal wear and tear in its intended use.

The Customer pays an additional 3 EUR insurance fee when renting an item, which covers minor damages.

The Service Provider, based on objective criteria, assesses the condition of the item using the RB item quality meter and, if it identifies any of the listed damages, has the right to demand compensation from the Customer according to the provided rates.

MINOR DAMAGES (rate, EUR)

  • A few missing sequins, beads, non-decorative fasteners
  • Faulty functional zipper, which can be repaired
  • Torn stitches (not exceeding 3 cm)
  • Small, easily cleanable stains
5 -25 EUR

MAJOR DAMAGES (rate, EUR)

  • Significant quantity of missing sequins, beads, which affects the item's appearance and value
  • Torn fabric in the seam larger than 5 cm
  • Cut fabric
  • Stretched fabric (altered texture, color)
  • Burnt fabric
  • Difficult-to-remove stains
  • Irreparably damaged/broken clasp, zipper, which needs replacement

Minimum: up to 100 EUR,

if the item's original appearance can be restored

 

Maximum: up to 90% of the item's value

 

PRECISE DAMAGES (rate, EUR)

  • Shortening of a dress (fabric cutting, folding, and/or other methods)
  • Dress repair (additional stitches)
  • Washing, cleaning, even if following the instructions on the label
  • Adding extra details (fasteners, sequins, fabric, etc.)
Up to 100% of the item's value

 

Even if you think the garment is irreparably damaged, please return it to us. Our specialist might be able to fix it, and the assessed damages could be lower than the total value of the item.
